Stein MartMAJOR sale at work this weekend, and we're understaffed and people are sick. This should be fun. >.o 9 hours on my feet yesterday because Jessica went home sick (I certainly hope I didn't give it to her because that fever was NOT fun :[) and there was no one else who could work (I know, I know, there are worse jobs and I did volunteer to stay, but...still!).
Customer service is kind of a bitch at any time, but throw in coupons, sale items that are temporary and therefore unmarked and causing all kinds of customer drama, people putting stuff on the wrong rack and DEMANDING a lower price for something that's not even on sale...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH I don't wanna!!! O.O There's only 3 people scheduled for the registers today, and I'm all alone the last hour. I hope hope hope it's not busy today. Friday is the "preview" sale for the Preferred Customers, but that doesn't mean squat. The sales are in the system and everyone knows about it. -.-
Oh, and coworkers? I understand that you're returning a crapload of things you bought, putting them on hold, and planning to re-buy them tomorrow because they'll be cheaper and you're trying to save every little bit you can. Believe me, I get it. But don't expect me to be all sweetness and light when you've got 43 (I counted) things to return, all on different receipts, and then DON'T STICK AROUND FOR THE MANAGER TO SIGN YOUR HOLD TICKET PER THE RULES OF THE STORE. It's not going to be my fault if you get yelled at. So there.
